Details
5K Run/Walk -
The 5k run walk will begin on Pembroke just beside the Tap Room.
The course will run through Irving Park where cold beer will await
your arrival back at the Tap Room.
Costume Contest - Don't
just put on your everyday running clothes. We want you to go 'old
school' and show off your best retro runner costume. We will
have awards for the best retro runner and plenty of spirit along the
course to keep you going.
Beer, Music and Fun -
We've tossed the stale bagels and warm water for cold beer and hot
food. Each runner will be provided 2 free beer tokens and we
will provide plenty of great food and fun and the finish line!
The post race activities will all take placein front of the Tap Room
including LIVE music.
Fees
5k Fees
$20 - 5k Run/Walk (Prior to 09/01)
$25 - 5k Run/Walk (On/After 09/01)
$30 - 5k Run/Walk (Race Day)
Late Registration
Participants registering after 09/14 are not guaranteed race t-shirt.
We will try our best to accommodate everyone but the best way to
guarantee your shirt is to register early!
Awards/Divisions
Top Overall Male/Female
Top 3 Male/Female in the following age groups:
0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,
50-54,55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
Best Retro Runner
Lace up your running shoes and throw on your disco pants because we
are going old-school. We want to encourage your inner disco king and
queen and reward the most groovy runners with free shoes. The
best ‘70s costumes will win free running shoes!
Chip Timing/Results
This race will utilize disposable chip timing. Your race number will
include your timing chip.
Packet Pickup
We are happy to
have Omega
Sports on Battleground Ave host packet pickup from 5:00PM - 8:00
PM on Friday Sep 23rd.

The race will start/finish on Pembroke Ave just beside The Tap Room
